You Are Not Your Stuff!

Welcome to my class in clutter clearing and creating a new life! Monday, January 11 at the Woodlands @ Furman University, I will begin teaching a new class about clearing clutter and organizing your home and your life. Each week I will post the class goals, projects, and celebrations! Yes, I believe in celebrating all the great things that we do --big and small.

As a former Home Economist, teacher, and Realtor, I have spent thousands of hours in people's homes observing how we (I include myself and my family) live, sleep, eat, clean, cook, entertain, amuse, and survive in our homes. Sometimes I have been delighted and amazed at the joy, energy and happiness that homes reflect about the occupants. But, most of the time I am overwhelmed by the shear amount of "Stuff" that we own, store, clean, ignore, neglect, and continue to acquire.
Our homes are a true reflection of our lives. Stuff is weighing us "Down"!

Our goal in "You are not your stuff!" is to create an awareness of how stuff is defining YOU and how you live your life. Freeing yourself of unwanted and unneeded things will change your life.
I know this to be true. I have seen it happen many times and I have experienced it in my own life. Lighten your load, energize your home, and enjoy freedom from 10,000 things!

You create your own reality! So let's have fun! YFF (Your friend Fran)

At Home in South Carolina

We moved to our new home in Greenville, SC on June 20, 2008. After 24 months, we are finally settling into our new lifestyle in the Carolinas. Everything about Greenville has changed since we left in 1985! It is a whole new world here. People from everywhere have discovered this special place.
